About Scuba Network
The people behind your next dive—right here on Long Island.
Choosing where to learn, train, and dive isn’t just about a website or a calendar slot—it’s about trust. You want to know who you’ll be diving with, how we think about training, and whether you’ll feel supported from your first questions all the way through your next splash.
That’s what this page is for. Welcome to Scuba Network.

Learn moreWho we are
We’re Scuba Network, and we’re here to help you build real confidence in the water—whether you’re starting your scuba journey or continuing it.
We’re based in Carle Place, NY, and you can find us at 204a Glen Cove Road, Carle Place, NY, USA. If you’re local, that means you’ve got an in-person place to connect with us, ask questions, and plan what comes next.
Our crew: instructors, staff, and the humans you’ll actually meet
Scuba is personal. The best training and the best dives happen when you feel comfortable speaking up—about nerves, gear questions, skills you want to repeat, or goals you’re excited to chase.
Our team is the heart of Scuba Network. When you reach out, you’re not just “booking a spot”—you’re starting a relationship with people who care about doing this the right way.
On this site you’ll see our Staff and Instructors featured so you can put faces to names, learn who you’ll be working with, and get a sense of our vibe before you ever step into the water.
A clear example of how we dive and train: local checkouts for certification
If you’re working toward certification, we offer Local Shore checkout dives for certification. It’s a straightforward way to finish the open-water portion locally with a structure designed to build comfort and consistency.
One of our offerings is Open Water Check Out Dves, which includes 4 local dives over 2 days. Because dive opportunities can fill up, you’ll also see available spots listed so you can plan around what’s actually open.
(If you’re comparing options and wondering what checkout dives involve, this is one of those moments where “about us” becomes practical: we like plans that are clear, local, and centered on giving you meaningful in-water experience.)
In the news & mentions
When people talk about a dive business, it usually comes down to two things: the experience and the reputation.
We keep a space for press and mentions so you can see where Scuba Network has been featured or talked about beyond our own pages. If you’re the kind of diver who likes an extra layer of external validation before committing, you’re in the right place.
Where to go next
If you’re here because you’re deciding whether we’re the right fit, the best next step is simple: get to know our team, then choose the training or dives that match your goals.
