Finish your Open Water certification dives with Scuba Network—locally, in Florida, or anywhere you travel
How the Open Water referral works
After completing your pool and class series, 4 open water dives are required to complete the certification process.
If you’ve been referred from another instructor or training organization, you can complete those dives with Scuba Network (seasonally in the Northeast) or in Florida year-round. We also accept referrals from all major certification organizations.

Price: $399.00 for referrals — local beach Additional fee: $49.00 additional for Florida or Dutch Springs/Lake Hydra checkout dives
To get started:
- Ask your instructor to sign your referral
- Call any of the Scuba Network stores to schedule and complete your dives
- We will take care of the details

You can complete your referral dives with Scuba Network at:

- Scuba Network Fort Lauderdale
- Scuba Network Deerfield Beach

Prefer to finish on a trip or while traveling?
You have options:
- Complete your certification with us on one of our group trips. Check our travel pages for scheduled dive trips.
- Or obtain a Universal Referral Form and complete your dives anywhere in the world. Any instructor can take the referral form. Dive with a certified instructor abroad, have them fill it out after you complete your dives, and we can process your certification card upon your return.
